🔍 What is ECU Identifier Pro?
The first step before any reprogramming work is to correctly identify the vehicle's ECU. Traditionally, this requires searching databases, consulting technical specifications, or even disassembling parts to read part numbers.
ECU Identifier Pro It eliminates all that work: you enter the license plate and in seconds you get the engine ECU, engine code, available power gains, and compatible reading methods. It's a progressive web application (PWA) designed for chip tuning shops, tuners, tool distributors, and specialized technicians.
It works directly from your browser, without going through Google Play or the App Store, and you can install it on your phone's home screen (Android or iPhone) to have it readily available in the workshop, just like a native app. The interface is available in Spanish and French, and you can change the language at any time.

⚙️ How does it work?
1. Enter the license plate
Enter the vehicle registration number in the search field. The app automatically detects the country. Because of the format: you don't have to select anything. The tool then consults official vehicle registration sources to obtain make, model, engine type, displacement, horsepower, and year of manufacture.
If the license plate is not in a recognized format, it will notify you instantly. without consuming a consultation.
2. Automatic ECU identification
Using the vehicle's data, the system cross-references the information with our database of thousands of control units. An intelligent scoring algorithm takes into account make, engine displacement, fuel type, power output, and generation to find the exact match—eliminating confusion between engines of the same displacement but different power outputs.
In the French case, the tool also interprets the SIV nomenclature (names such as SCÉNIC III, SERIES 3 or CLASS A) and it is equivalent to our database.

Database: over 30,000 control unit records with information on tuning stages, additional options and reading methods.
Vehicle details: Real-time consultation of official vehicle registration sources in Spain and France to obtain technical data from the registration number.
Country detection: The registration is analyzed before any query is made. Spanish (current and provincial) and French (SIV and FNI) formats are automatically recognized.
