1. Professional platform status (B2B)

EcuTracer is a platform exclusively for professionals in the automotive sector (mechanical workshops, tuners, electronic control unit reprogramming companies and related professionals).

By registering and/or making any purchase on ecutracer.com, the user declares and warrants that:

Act as a company, professional or self-employed worker in the exercise of your economic activity, and not as an end consumer.
The tax information provided during registration (including name or company name, tax address and tax identification number / VAT number) is truthful, complete and up-to-date.
The products and services acquired through the platform will be used exclusively within the framework of your professional activity.

EcuTracer reserves the right to request documentation proving the user's professional status at any time, as well as to suspend or cancel access to the platform in case of non-compliance with this condition.

Since the platform is not intended for end consumers, the regulations on the protection of consumers and users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), including the 14-day right of withdrawal, do not apply.

2. Registration and access

Access to EcuTracer services requires prior registration via the form available at ecutracer.com/login-registration/. Registration is subject to manual approval by EcuTracer. Required registration information includes, but is not limited to:

Company name or business name.
Tax identification number (NIF, CIF, VAT, RFC or equivalent).
Email address and contact information.
Country of tax residence.

The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and for keeping it up to date. EcuTracer reserves the right to deny or revoke access to any user who provides false data or who does not meet the platform's requirements.

3. Credit and pricing system

EcuTracer operates using a prepaid credit system. Credits are purchased through the website store and are used when requesting reprogramming files.

Credit prices may vary depending on the geographic tier assigned to the user's country. Prices are shown in the corresponding currency and do not include any local taxes that may apply in the user's jurisdiction. It is the user's responsibility to comply with their local tax obligations.

4. Reprogramming File Service

EcuTracer provides customized electronic control unit (ECU) reprogramming files based on user specifications. The service works as follows:

The user sends the original vehicle ECU file through the platform.
The user selects the desired modifications (Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF, EGR, AdBlue, Pop&Bang, etc.).
EcuTracer processes the file and delivers the modified version to the user.
The usual delivery time is less than 1 hour, although it may vary depending on the complexity of the request.

5. Use of files and responsibility

The reprogramming files provided by EcuTracer:

They are for the exclusive use of the registered user who purchased them.
They are intended for the specific vehicle for which they were requested.
They may not be redistributed, resold, shared, or made available to third parties under any circumstances.

The professional user is solely responsible for:

The correct reading and writing of the file in the vehicle's control unit.
Verify the file's compatibility with the vehicle's hardware.
Compliance with current regulations regarding homologation, emissions and circulation in their jurisdiction.
Inform your end customer of the modifications made and their implications.

EcuTracer is not responsible for mechanical damage, breakdowns, loss of manufacturer's warranty, administrative penalties or any other damage resulting from the application of reprogramming files by the user or third parties.

6. Returns and warranty policy

Given the digital and immediate nature of the files delivered and the professional status of the users, the right of withdrawal does not apply.

However, EcuTracer offers a technical guarantee on the delivered files. If a file malfunctions due to an error attributable to EcuTracer, it will be corrected at no additional cost to the user. To do so, the user must contact technical support and provide the necessary documentation (original file, vehicle data, and a description of the problem).

Unused credits are non-refundable except by express agreement with EcuTracer.

7. Referral code

EcuTracer may offer a referral program that allows registered users to earn rewards for recommending the platform to other professionals. Specific program terms and conditions are communicated to participating users and may be modified by EcuTracer at any time.

8. Account Suspension and Cancellation

EcuTracer reserves the right to suspend or cancel the account of any user who:

Violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Provide false information or fail to prove your professional status.
Redistribute or resell reprogramming files.
Make abusive or fraudulent use of the platform.
Fail to meet your payment obligations.

9. Billing

Invoices for the purchase of credits are issued from EcuTracer to the tax information provided by the user at the time of registration.

10. Communications

EcuTracer may send the user service-related communications via email and/or WhatsApp, including:

Notices of credits exhausted or about to run out.
Registration approval notifications.
Information about service or platform updates.
Technical support communications.

11. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions

EcuTracer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and in the case of significant modifications, registered users will be notified by email. Continued use of the platform after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from the use of the platform, the parties submit to the Courts of the owner's domicile, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
