EcuTracer It incorporates a system of digital certificates of authenticity for each ECU reprogramming. It is automatically generated upon completion of each order, includes QR verification, and is linked to the vehicle via invoice, registration number, or VIN, making it virtually impossible to counterfeit.
⚙️ What is it and how does it work?
Each time a distributor requests a reprogramming file and the order is completed, EcuTracer automatically generates a digital certificate with a unique identifier (format ECT-2026-XXXXXX), a security token and a public verification QR code.
The system automatically fills in the vehicle data (make, model, engine, ECU, fuel), original and reprogrammed power outputs, and services applied (Stage 1, DPF, EGR, etc.) from the integrated database and order metadata. The distributor does not have to do anything additional.

The certificate is attached to the vehicle by means of three methods of identification which can be combined with each other — one, two, or all three references at once — guaranteeing a 100% secure link between the certificate and the specific vehicle to which the reprogramming was applied:

The logic is straightforward: Only orders completed on EcuTracer generate valid certificates.. If a customer doesn't have a certificate, or if the system says "Not Found" when verifying it, it means the software didn't come from that workshop or from EcuTracer. It could be a copy, a file of dubious origin, or a fabricated certificate.
Combined with linking by invoice, registration and VIN, the system detects both fake certificates and attempts to reuse a legitimate certificate in a different vehicle. Complete protection for workshops and end customers.
